This is a coffee supply company, not a cafe. They are small, local and sell fair trade, organic, shade-grown coffee from El Salvador. The coffee itself is getting rave reviews. But the goodness doesn’t end at taste, ecology and trade. Mother Earth Coffee Company is also a woman-owned company.

I’m very surprised NOT to find Ten Thousand Villages listed here for it’s distribution of Fair Trade coffee. They offer two (at least) suppliers of coffee as well as Fair Trade teas. Located in downtown Overland Park, they’re readily accessible for the many justice-oriented persons in the area.
